The most common cause of this issue is more than one slider being called on the homepage, or a second slider widget accidentally placed in the footer or sidebar.
The duplicate widget causes a script conflict when both load with auto-slide enabled.
- Go to → and verify only one instance of the Slider widget exists in any panel
- If you have a widgetized page template, temporarily remove any slider widgets from the widgetized page slider panel
- Expand your remaining slider widget and ensure all filters are selected by clicking Save after each drop-down menu selection.
- Ensure a positive value of less than 5 is in the Auto-Interval field.
- Ensure the Thumbnail selection is set to Post Featured Image or Thumbnails – auto-slide should not be used in combination with videos.
