Theme Updater reports wrong version even though stylesheet is correct

This is usually caused by having multiple copies of the theme in your wp-content/themes folder.  Connect to your site via FTP and remove any duplicates to a different location, or delete them. If there is only one copy, it is recommended you to a full reinstall with the current version to ensure all files are in sync and updated.
