Thumbnails not cropping,scaling or sizing correctly

Resolve by installing and activating the Timthumb Vulnerability Scanner plugin. (Or install from Plugins > Add New). Once installed, go to Tools > Timthumb Scanner and click Scan. When the scan finishes, update each item that is not up to date.
